Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery unit with LDR rooms, OB triage, ORs, PACU, and antepartum rooms
  • Manage labor and delivery patients including administration of IV drips such as magnesium and other high-acuity interventions
  • Circulate and assist with C-sections and other OR procedures including epidurals, spinals, cerclage, and version
  • Float within the women's and children's service line as needed per unit policy
  • Document patient care using Meditech and CPN electronic documentation systems
Required Qualifications
  • Active RN license with Labor & Delivery specialty experience
  • Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification required
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
  • AWHONN Fetal Heart Rate Intermediate certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience in a scrub role and circulating in the OR setting
  • Familiarity with high-acuity L&D environments including Level III NICU support
  • Prior experience with Meditech or CPN documentation systems
