**Job Description:**
- Be a vital part of a dedicated team in our Labor & Delivery unit!
- **Unit Overview:**
- **Beds:** 14 labor beds, 2 OR, 6 recovery bays, 8 antepartum beds
- **Staff:** 40 exceptional professionals
- **Shifts:**
- Day: 1 charge nurse, 3-4 RNs, 1-2 CSTs
- Night: 1 charge nurse, 3-4 RNs, 1-2 CSTs
- **Patient Ratios:**
- 1:2 for labor
- 1:4 for antepartum
- **Equipment:** GE EFM, CPN
- **EMR:** Meditech/Centricity Perinatal
- **What We Seek:**
- **Must Have Skills:**
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- Labor management
- **Preferred Skills:**
- Ability to circulate in L&D OR
- **Procedures Performed:**
- Vaginal deliveries
- Cesarean sections
- Bilateral tubal ligations
- D&C
- Uterine tamponade devices
- Magnesium drip and titration
- Pitocin drip and titration
- **Ideal Candidate Traits:**
- Positive and compassionate
- Flexible and adaptable
- **Required Certifications:**
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- Intermittent EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring)
- **Floating Areas Include:**
- Antepartum
- Postpartum (OB assignment only)
- **Dress Code:**
- Scrubs: Royal blue attire
- **Weekend and On-Call Expectations:**
- Rotating weekends required
