- 2 years minimum of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in high-volume delivery service
Description:
Required Credential(s) include BLS Provider certification from an accepted organization.
Registered Nurse license is required.
Neonatal Resuscitation certification from an accepted organization is mandatory.
Advanced Life Support certification is also needed.
Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification is required.
Preferred qualifications include:
- 3-5 years of Perinatal clinical experience in high-volume delivery service.
- S.T.A.B.L.E Program certification.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification.
The facility has a Level IV Client Designation.
It consists of 26 labor and delivery suites, including low intervention rooms.
There are 6 C-section suites, 14 Triage rooms, 60 Mother-Baby Couplet rooms, and 16 monitored Ante-partum rooms.
It's an academic teaching service with large private OB practices.
The environment is high-risk and fast-paced, with over 500 deliveries per month.
There is 24-hour in-house attending OB coverage, anesthesia coverage, and NICU coverage.
A Perinatal Transport Program is also in place.
Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and NRP.
