Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Virginia

Schedule: Rotating shifts available. Day shift typically includes 1 charge nurse, 12 RNs, and 2-3 surgical techs. Night shift includes 1 charge nurse, 6-7 RNs, and 1 surgical tech. Patient ratios follow AWHONN guidelines (1:1, 2:1, or 3:1 based on acuity).

- EMR systems: CPN and Meditech

- Comprehensive case mix including labor, delivery, recovery, triage, antepartum care, C-section circulation, first-hour baby care, and breastfeeding assistance
Requirements:
- Current Labor & Delivery experience within the previous 2 years (required)
- Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring certification (current, within previous 2 years)
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications
- Active RN license or eligibility for Virginia licensure
- Preferred: Experience at facilities with 3,000+ births per year
