Description:
This position involves working in the Labor and Delivery unit.
The unit has 19 patient rooms, 6 PACU rooms, 6 triage rooms, and 3 L&D ORs.
The night shift consists of 1 charge RN, 7-9 RNs, and support staff.
Patient ratios are typically 2:1, with 1:1 for complicated cases.
Equipment includes FHR monitors and fetal scalp electrodes.
The role includes conducting vaginal and c-section deliveries.
RNs will deliver care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
The RN is responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care for labor and delivery patients, postpartum patients, and high-risk antepartum patients.
The best candidates will be flexible, friendly, and dependable.
Candidates with experience in Mom/Baby, Pediatrics, and/or NICU are preferred.
