The RN is responsible for assessing and identifying risk factors related to sepsis, venous thromboembolism (VTE), suicide, malignant hyperthermia, and pressure injury. The RN will provide discharge education and assessment, and manage abnormal assessments and pain. The RN must effectively manage time and prioritize patient care needs based on acuity and individual patient requirements. Use of AIDET and BSSR is expected. The RN may perform procedures such as circumcisions. Required uniform consists of black scrub pants and a Caribbean blue scrub top, vest, or jacket.
