Job TitleTravel RN - Labor & Delivery
LocationIrving, TX | Acute Care
Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a 12-bed Labor & Delivery unit with a 2:1 patient ratio
- Circulate C-sections as required on the unit
- Serve in a charge nurse capacity - charge experience is required and candidates must be willing to work charge
- Document patient care using the Meditech electronic documentation system
- Collaborate with unit technicians and unit secretarial support available each shift
- Float to other units as needed per facility policy
Required Qualifications- Minimum 2+ years of Labor & Delivery RN experience
- Active Texas RN License required - temporary licenses will not be accepted
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- Fetal Monitoring (FM) / AWHONN certification required
- Must be willing and able to work charge nurse shifts
- Expected schedule includes 4 weekend shifts per month
Preferred Experience / Skills- RNC (Registered Nurse Certified) specialty certification
- Prior experience with Meditech documentation system
