Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor & Delivery – Texas

Location: Arlington, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; Tuesday start dates
Highlights:
- High-volume, high-acuity Labor & Delivery unit with 23 beds specializing in high-risk obstetric care
- Comprehensive case mix including magnesium drips, insulin drips, and advanced fetal monitoring
- Electronic Medical Record system: Cerner PowerChart (CPN) and Meditech
- Nurse-to-patient ratio of 2:1 ensuring optimal care delivery
- Minimal on-call requirement: one shift every 4 weeks
- Float within women's services only (postpartum/antepartum units)
Requirements:
- Active RN license in Texas or compact state eligibility
- Minimum 1 year of travel experience in high-risk obstetrics and Labor & Delivery
- Current certifications: NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), ACLS, and BLS
- Intermediate fetal monitoring certification required
- Operating room experience (circulating and scrubbing) strongly preferred
- High-volume, high-acuity Labor & Delivery experience highly desirable
