Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor & Delivery – Texas

Start Date: July 21, 2026
Location: Arlington, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; Tuesday start dates

Highlights:

  • High-volume, high-acuity Labor & Delivery unit with 23 beds specializing in high-risk obstetric care
  • Comprehensive case mix including magnesium drips, insulin drips, and advanced fetal monitoring
  • Electronic Medical Record system: Cerner PowerChart (CPN) and Meditech
  • Nurse-to-patient ratio of 2:1 ensuring optimal care delivery
  • Minimal on-call requirement: one shift every 4 weeks
  • Float within women's services only (postpartum/antepartum units)

Requirements:

  • Active RN license in Texas or compact state eligibility
  • Minimum 1 year of travel experience in high-risk obstetrics and Labor & Delivery
  • Current certifications: NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), ACLS, and BLS
  • Intermediate fetal monitoring certification required
  • Operating room experience (circulating and scrubbing) strongly preferred
  • High-volume, high-acuity Labor & Delivery experience highly desirable
