This position involves providing care to patients during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum. The unit consists of 8 beds and 19 staff members. Patient ratios are 2:1 for labor patients and 4:1 for couplets (mother/baby). You will be required to perform typical procedures such as deliveries and newborn testing. Candidates must be hardworking, willing to ask questions, and ready to help coworkers as needed. On-call requirements are one shift per week, with the potential for additional calls. Weekend work is expected every other weekend. Candidates without the required skills will not be considered for the role. Preferred candidates will have experience with C-Sections.
