Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery setting, applying evidence-based nursing practices
  • Respond to emergencies in a decisive, composed, and respectful manner within a fast-paced environment
  • Utilize Epic EMR and other clinical technologies to support and document patient care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
  • Apply strong critical thinking and analytical skills to assess and manage patient conditions throughout the labor and delivery process
Required Qualifications
  • Active RN license - Single State or Compact (Multi-State) required
  • BLS - Basic Life Support (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) required upon hire
  • NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program required upon hire; NRP-Provisional accepted within 180 days if noted as "Willing to Obtain"
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required upon hire; ACLS-Provisional accepted within 180 days if noted as "Willing to Obtain"
  • Completion of an accredited/approved school of nursing with requisite clinical hours (Associate's or Diploma in Nursing minimum)
  • Epic EMR experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Direct patient care experience in Labor & Delivery or a related clinical setting
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively in high-acuity environments
