Job Opportunity – Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse – Ohio
Start Date: October 2026
Location: Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, three 12-hour shifts per week, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Highlights:
- Work in a comprehensive Labor and Delivery unit with diverse assignments including labor/induction patients, circulating role in OB-OR, and antepartum care
- Night shift schedule providing excellent work-life balance with three 12-hour shifts weekly
- Experience with Epic Stork preferred but not required – training and orientation provided
- Contract extension opportunities available for up to 18 months for qualified candidates
- Comprehensive orientation program with clinical competency assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safe medication administration
- Pre-start modules completed with billable orientation hours
Requirements:
- Minimum 12 months of permanent Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
- Active Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license (must be in hand at time of application)
- Current certifications required at time of submission: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and STABLE
- One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director from specialty work within the past 12 months (coworker references will not be accepted)
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safe medication assessments during orientation
- Clear background check with no open cases and clean license history
- Completion of BCI/FBI fingerprinting within 48 hours of contract signing
