Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. The nurse will be required to work night shifts. Every other weekend coverage is expected. One 12-hour call shift per schedule is required. Floating within the facility as needed is part of the role. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience, although first-time travelers are accepted. All candidates will be clinically screened to determine clinical fit. If the candidate passes the clinical screen and meets requirements, they will be sent to the manager for a final decision. Travelers are expected to work on major holidays if they fall within the assignment period. Compliance is required to start on time, with a deadline for all documents provided. It is essential to finalize any requests for time off prior to submission. Travelers must successfully meet all onboarding requirements to begin the assignment. Patience ratio during shifts is normally 2 patients to 1 nurse.
