Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Women's Services Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Level 1 Nursery, Postpartum, OB/GYN, and Labor and Delivery/LDRP. License: Must have an active RN license. Certifications: Must possess ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE, and AWHONN certifications. Must-Have: - 2 years recent experience in OB/GYN patient care, including postpartum care, antepartum care, triage care, labor and delivery care. - Experience in circulating during C/Sections and attending deliveries. - Understanding of patient assessment and care planning. Description: Performs interventions as part of the plan of care. Administers medications, collects specimens, and provides clinical treatments. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care effectively. Monitors, records, and communicates patient conditions to the care team and families. Assists patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, nutrition, and mobility. Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care and address various support needs. Evaluates patient and family learning needs, delivering education tailored to individual circumstances. Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients. Circulates during C/Sections and assists physicians as needed during deliveries. Follows policies for surgical patient recovery and care. Attends to neonatal assessment post-delivery in the C/Section suite. Participates in continued education classes as required. Identifies key information to communicate with healthcare providers and patients.
