Description:
This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Labor and Delivery unit.
The unit features 15 labor delivery rooms, 3 OB triage rooms, 3 operating rooms, 4 bay post-anesthesia care unit, and 4 antepartum rooms.
It is a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
The documentation system is Meditech and CPN.
Scheduling requirements include shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM and 7 PM to 7 AM.
Floating within women's and children's service line is expected.
Patient experience includes labor and delivery, circulating for C-sections, and managing IV drips such as magnesium for high-acuity patients.
Advanced skills required include experience with high-acuity labor and delivery units and scrub role experience.
Procedures performed on the unit include C-sections, epidurals, spinals, cerclage, and version.
The dress code consists of hospital-supplied scrubs.
