The unit features a total of 10 labor delivery rooms, 3 triage rooms, and 2 operating room suites. There are 30 RNs working collaboratively on the unit. The patient ratio is 2 laboring patients per 1 RN. Equipment used includes GE monitoring systems, Novii Wireless, Spectrum IV Pumps, and CADD epidural PCA. Experience with EMR Meditech is preferred. Typical procedures performed on the unit include inductions, cesarean sections, and spontaneous vaginal deliveries.
