Operating Room circulator experience
IV start proficiency
Medication management including oxytocin and magnesium
Description:
Data collection for unit information is required.
The unit consists of 11 beds and employs 34 staff members.
Staffing includes a charge nurse, surgical techs, and registered nurses on both day and night shifts.
Patient ratios follow AWHONN guidelines.
Standard equipment includes GE Labor and Delivery fetal monitoring, wireless monitoring, and Baxter IV Pumps.
The electronic medical record systems used are Meditech Expanse and GE CPN Connect.
Typical procedures performed include labor management, vaginal and cesarean deliveries, and pre-operative/post-anesthesia care.
A candidate's personality should be open and friendly while able to manage independently but also display a team spirit.
Rotating weekends are required, and on-call duties are not part of this role.
