Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care for laboring patients throughout the labor and delivery process
Circulate for cesarean section procedures in the OR setting
Monitor and interpret fetal heart rate patterns and respond appropriately to changes in maternal-fetal status
Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe patient outcomes
Float to postpartum unit as needed based on census and staffing requirements
Document patient care accurately using the Meditech/CPN electronic medical record system
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in Texas
Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
