Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive care to labor and delivery patients in a Women's Services unit with 10 LDR rooms, 2 ORs, and 2 triage bays
  • Circulate in the OR for cesarean sections
  • Deliver postpartum couplet care as needed
  • Perform triage assessments for obstetric patients
  • Document patient care using Expanse EMR and monitor via CPN system
  • Participate in rotating weekend and holiday coverage
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
  • Ability to circulate in the OR for cesarean sections
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
  • AWHONN Fetal Monitoring (FM) certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience with labor and postpartum care combined
  • Obstetric triage experience
  • Familiarity with AWHONN patient ratio standards
  • Experience with HillRom or GE obstetric equipment
