# Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Tennessee**Start Date:** November 30, 2026 **Location:** Tennessee **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** 4 weekend shifts per month; 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio; 24/7 unit coverage with dedicated midwife and CRNA in-house**Highlights:**- Work in a 9-bed Labor & Delivery unit with 3 swing rooms, 2 ORs, and 3-bed OB Emergency Department- Recognized as an HCA Unit of Distinction in 2021 and TIPQC Pilot hospital for NTSV and Team Birth initiatives- Utilize CPN and Meditech documentation systems with advanced fetal monitoring technology- Participate in diverse procedures including OR circulating, IUPC, FSE, MgSO4 administration, postpartum hemorrhage management with JADA system, and nitrous oxide support- Collaborate with a 24/7 laborist team model including midwives, dedicated CRNAs, and on-call OBGYNs- Support personalized birth experiences with patient-centered care, couplet care model, and breastfeeding promotion with donor milk availability**Requirements:**- Current RN license- ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required- Fetal monitoring certification required- Previous Labor & Delivery experience preferred- Additional certifications such as Spinning Babies and STABLE are beneficial- Commitment to promoting vaginal birth opportunities and supporting patient choice**Why It's a Great Opportunity:**This position offers the chance to deliver exceptional, patient-centered maternity care within a recognized unit of excellence.
