# Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Tennessee**Start Date:** September 21, 2026**Location:** Middle Tennessee**Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants**Schedule:** Rotating shifts with 4 weekend shifts per month; 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratios**Highlights:**- 9-bed Labor & Delivery unit with 3 swing rooms, 2 operating rooms, and 3-bed OB Emergency Department- Laborist team model with 24/7 in-house midwives, dedicated CRNA, and OBGYN on-call coverage- Advanced maternal care including circulating in OR, IUPC, FSE, MgSO4 administration, hemorrhage protocols (JADA system), and nitrous oxide- Documentation via CPN and Meditech systems- Unit recognized as HCA Unit of Distinction 2021 and TIPQC Pilot Hospital for NTSV and Team Birth initiatives- Couplet care model in postpartum with 8-bed Level 2 NICU and dedicated Neonatal Nurse Practitioners available 24/7- Access to donor milk program and comprehensive breastfeeding support**Requirements:**- Current RN license in Tennessee- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required- Fetal monitoring certification required- Labor and delivery experience strongly preferred- STABLE certification helpful but not required- Commitment to patient-centered care and promoting vaginal birth opportunities based on patient preference**Why It's a Great Opportunity:**This position offers the chance to work within a collaborative, patient-centered birth environment that prioritizes individualized care and evidence-based practices.
