- 12-bed Labor & Delivery unit within a dedicated Women's and Children's facility
- 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio ensuring quality care and manageable workload
- Comprehensive L&D services including vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, epidural anesthesia, and tub labor
- Documentation systems include CPN and Meditach electronic medical records
- Collaborative team environment with RNs, unit secretaries, and OR techs providing strong support
- Shared decision-making model promoting patient-centered care and exceptional patient experience
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience required
- Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state eligibility
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification OR C-EFM (Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring)
- Current certifications: NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), ACLS, and BLS
- Demonstrated competency in care of laboring patients, newborn immediate care, and circulating/recovering cesarean section patients
- Experience with epidural anesthesia management, D&C, and cerclage procedures preferred
