Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Provide the highest quality of care to laboring patients
• Support patient choice and promote opportunities for vaginal birth
• Circulate in the OR and perform units-specific procedures
• Utilize the CPN and Meditech documentation systems
• Maintain required patient experience levels
• Float to related units as needed

Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• RN license
• ACLS, BLS, NRP certifications
• Fetal monitoring certification
• Experience in labor and delivery
• Spinning babies and STABLE skills helpful
