Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Tennessee

Location: Nashville, Tennessee

Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week, including 3 weekend shifts and 1 call shift per month. Floating policy applies with travel staff floating first.

- Full scope of practice including vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C procedures, cerclage placement, epidural anesthesia support, and tub labor
- Collaborative team environment with RNs, unit secretaries, and OR techs working together
- Documentation systems include CPN and Meditach
- Shared decision-making model promoting patient-centered care
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
- Current RN license
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (not Advanced) OR C-EFM certification required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Advanced skills in care of the laboring patient, newborn care immediately after delivery, and ability to circulate and recover cesarean section patients
