Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Varies, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts. Holiday expectations include working 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve).

Highlights:

  • Labor & Delivery unit caring for diverse patient population including pregnancy complications, preeclampsia, diabetes, and preterm labor
  • Cerner EMR system utilized for patient documentation
  • Minimum 2 years of recent L&D experience required
  • 13-week assignment with potential for extension
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Requirements:

  • Active Georgia RN license or compact state licensure
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
  • AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) certification required
  • Experience with Cerner EMR system preferred
  • Experience managing high-risk obstetric cases including preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, and preterm labor
