Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients in a 12-bed Labor & Delivery unit with a 1:2 patient ratio
Care for newborns immediately following delivery
Circulate and recover patients undergoing cesarean sections
Support procedures including vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&C, cerclage, epidural anesthesia, and tub labor
Document patient care using CPN and Meditach systems
Participate in a shared decision-making model for patient experience; travelers float first per unit policy
Required Qualifications
Active RN license
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
AWHONN Intermediate (not advanced) OR CEFM certification required
ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required

Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with CPN and/or Meditach documentation systems
Familiarity with a full range of OB procedures including cerclage and epidural anesthesia support
Experience working alongside OR techs and unit secretaries in a collaborative team environment
