Job TitleRegistered Nurse - Labor & Delivery
LocationAugusta, GA | Acute Care
Schedule / Job TypeContract | Night Shift | 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM | Variable days | On-call as needed | Expected minimum every other weekend | Expected minimum 2 major and 2 minor holidays
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to laboring and postpartum patients in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery unit
- Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Epic EMR
- Respond to on-call assignments and support staffing needs as required
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Epic EMR experience required
- Relevant Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Must possess required certifications or indicate willingness to obtain prior to start
- Valid Driver's License required for submission
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in a high-volume or acute care Labor & Delivery setting
- Familiarity with fetal monitoring and obstetric emergency protocols
- Flexibility to adapt to variable scheduling demands including nights, weekends, and holidays
