Description:
This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Labor & Delivery specialty.
The unit has 12 beds with a patient ratio of 1:2.
Staff includes RNs, a unit secretary, and OR techs.
The documentation system used is CPN and Meditach.
Scheduling requirements include three weekend shifts, one call shift for RNs, and two call shifts for techs.
Travelers will float first as part of the floating policy.
Candidates must have advanced skills in caring for laboring patients and newborns post-delivery.
The unit performs vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, epidural anesthesia, and tub labor.
Scrubs are required and should be in Ceil Blue, Navy Blue, or Gray.
