Description:
This position involves caring for labor and delivery patients.
Postpartum couplet care is also part of the responsibilities.
Candidates must be energetic and ready to support a new team.
Rotating weekends and holiday coverage are required.
Typical procedures performed include care of labor and delivery patients.
The unit has a total of 10 labor-delivery-recovery rooms, 2 operating rooms, and 2 triage areas.
The staff comprises a charge nurse, registered nurses, unit coordinators, and surgical technicians.
The patient ratios are in accordance with AWHONN guidelines.
Required equipment includes updated HillRom and GE systems.
Documentation is performed using an EMR system.
Candidates lacking the required experience will not be considered.
