Job Title: RN Mom/Baby Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Post Partum/Mom Baby Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Active RN License Certifications: NRP, BLS Must-Have: Mother/Baby experience Description: Travel opportunity for an RN in the Mom/Baby specialty. Position involves providing care for postpartum patients and newborns. Typical procedures include M/B care, lactation consultant support, phototherapy, blood sugar checks, and IV antibiotics. Full-time staff includes charge nurses, resource nurses, admission nurses, and patient care technicians. Patient-to-nurse ratios on the night shift are 1:3 for couplets. Candidates should possess a positive attitude and be flexible team players. The unit does not require any on-call shifts, and weekend shifts will be required 3-4 times per schedule. Floating as a resource nurse is rare. Candidates without the required mother/baby experience will not be considered.
