Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) registered nurse position available across the healthcare provider's facility. This role involves providing specialized nursing care for women during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods. The position requires highly skilled nursing professionals with experience in high-risk labor and delivery, offering an opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per day, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications:
- 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in labor and delivery.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
- Five (5) or more years of recent experience in labor and delivery, with experience within the last two (2) years.
- One (1) year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two (2) years.
- High Risk Obstetric (OB) experience preferred.
- Additional Information: This role entails providing comprehensive care to high-risk obstetric patients, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, and adhering to facility protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Candidates must be confident in managing high-pressure situations and demonstrate strong clinical skills in labor and delivery settings.
