Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in Dallas, TX. This position involves providing specialized high-risk obstetrical care within a dedicated Womens Hospital unit. The role includes circulating during c-section procedures, managing high acuity patients, and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols on a busy labor and delivery floor.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, starting 09/22/2026 and ending 11/03/2026, with a minimum of 48 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN (Registered Nurse) license. At least 2 years of high-risk labor and delivery experience, including high risk obstetrical bedside training, circulating in c-section procedures, and recovering high acuity patients. Certifications required include Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Association of Womens Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) fetal monitoring certificate, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). Additional conditions include neat and clean appearance with adherence to dress code policies.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with high-risk obstetrics, specific familiarity with Meditech electronic documentation system, and ability to float to antepartum units as needed.
  • Additional Information: The unit features high patient ratios of 2:1 and 3:1, and handles vaginal deliveries, c-sections, D&Cs, and post-delivery recovery care. Requirements include no artificial nails, neatly maintained hair, covered tattoos, and no visible piercings other than earrings.
