Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN with a CA RN license, EPIC experience, and Fetal Heart Monitoring certification for a day shift position.
Details
- Labor and Delivery unit within an acute care hospital setting
- Day shift schedule with 36 or 48-hour options, 7:00 AM-7:30 PM
- Floating required to AHDL as needed
- EPIC EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- BLS certification from an approved vendor required
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification required
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS certification required
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification required
- BSN preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty, 3 years for ER, ICU, Cath Lab, and OR
- Recent experience within the submitted specialty required within the last 3 months
- No prior negative licensure actions permitted
Additional Information
- Delivers coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards and the nursing process
- Supervises and directs various levels of assigned nursing staff and coordinates care with other disciplines
- Collects and analyzes patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care needs
- Develops and implements care plans, evaluates outcomes, and coordinates safe care delivery
- Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide a safe, healing environment
- Provides patient and family education and participates in discharge planning
- Delegates duties appropriately among healthcare team members
- Required vaccinations are a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available
- No radius rule applies; local rates are the same as travel rates
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will be automatically declined
