Unit Details

21-bed Labor & Delivery unit
Ratios: 1:2
Travelers float within Women's Services
Labor, delivery, and recovery in same suite
3 OR rooms/recovery rooms

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years of L&D experience
First-time travelers accepted
Must have experience in a facility with 400+ births per month
Must be able to recover C-sections
Epic experience required
IV starts and OR circulating required

Required Certifications

BLS
AWHONN Intermediate
NRP

Pitocin, Magnesium, and Insulin drips
Preterm labor
Multiple gestations

Postpartum hemorrhage

Patient Population

Triage patients from 14+ weeks gestation
L&D patients from 20+ weeks gestation
Resuscitation offered at 22+ weeks gestation
