First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Sacramento, California.

Required Certifications

ACLS (AHA), AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM), BLS (AHA), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Shift Notes

12hr Nights, EOW, First to Float

 

Travelers will work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years). Managers will make the final call on scheduling, but we would include this verbiage on the confirmation. **Holiday time off will be considered, however not guaranteed**

Candidates may not have been directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity within the past year. Candidates who were employed PRN through outside firms will be considered.

- Unit: Family Birthing Center
- # beds: 13 L&D / 9 MB. 2 OR suites.
- Certs: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Advanced Fetal Monitoring (NEED A COPY AT SUBMITTAL). 2 years of - L&D experience. Must be able to circulate C-sections.
- Ratios: 1:2 L, 1:4
- EMR: Cerner
- Charge Nurse: Yes - takes patients if necessary
- Nurse Aides: No
- Weekend Requirement: Days - every 3rd / Nights - every other
- Holidays: Rotate with core staff
- Scrub Color: provided
- Tele: No
- Vents: No
- Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: OB physicians and anesthesia in house 24/7
- IV Team: Available if necessary
- RT 24/7: Yes
- Pharmacy 24/7: Yes
- Call: No call for travelers
