Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a healthcare facility on the night shift. The role involves providing individualized, holistic care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of both patients and their families. The RN will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and serve as a patient advocate with a focus on quality outcomes.
Job Details
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting from 10/05/2026 through 01/03/2027
- Required Qualifications: California RN license, at least three years of recent RN experience in an RN role, and at least two years of recent RN experience in an specialty area. Valid certifications in CPR, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Association of Womens Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM), and Advanced or Intermediate certifications are required. Skills include patient care, care planning, nursing process, patient assessment, therapeutic care, patient advocacy, socio-cultural analysis, interdisciplinary collaboration, delegation, care coordination, quality outcomes, documentation, educational planning, and adult learning theory.
