WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Farmington, Connecticut.

Join our dedicated team at WCS Healthcare Partners in Farmington, CT, where we provide exceptional care in our Labor & Delivery unit. We are seeking experienced and compassionate RNs to contribute to our mission of delivering outstanding maternal and newborn care.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to patients in the OB/Postpartum/Antepartum units.
Assist in labor and delivery, ensuring the safety and comfort of both mother and baby.
Monitor fetal development and maternal health, responding promptly to any complications.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system, Epic.
Participate in mandatory overtime and float to different departments as needed within clinical competence.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with prior OB experience required.
Previous travel experience in a similar role is required.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring Certification, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring.
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (11p-11a), including every 3rd weekend.
Experience with a variety of unit settings, including postpartum, antepartum, and labor rooms.
