Labor and Delivery Nurse in the healthcare provider setting. This role involves providing professional nursing direct patient care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum, ensuring patient safety and comfort through a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach. The position requires flexibility to work variable shifts and supports the care of neonates, adolescents, infants, and adults.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Rotating shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 11/02/2026 and ending on 02/01/2027.
  • Required Qualifications: Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Women's Health and Obstetric Nursing (AWHONN) Intermediate and Advanced, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); active or pending Washington state license; at least 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring), and various neonatal and obstetric procedures such as neonatal resuscitation, postpartum care, and sterile vaginal exams.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Assisting with high-risk deliveries, cesarean sections, neonatal assessments, labor support, and patient education; floating between OB units as needed, performing helping hands, sitter, and CNA-type work.
  • Certifications and Skills: Administration of blood and blood products, assisting with sterile exams and procedures, use of fetal monitors, and neonatal care practices.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required, with 0-3 floating shifts per month to OB units for supportive roles such as helping hands, sitter, or CNA functions.
