Labor and Delivery Nursing Specialist in the Labor and Delivery Department. This position involves providing professional nursing direct patient care in compliance with professional practice and unit standards. It emphasizes a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach to care for obstetric patients, newborns, and their families.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Rotating shift with variability, including a minimum of 36 hours per week, with shifts typically lasting 12 hours each. Start date is 10/19/2026 and end date is 01/18/2027.
  • Required Qualifications: A minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery, certifications including BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), AWHONN Intermediate (Association of Womens Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and an active or pending Washington state license.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic fetal monitoring, obstetric procedures such as vaginal delivery, cesarean delivery, postpartum, antepartum, neonatal resuscitation, and additional obstetric skills listed in the candidate profile.
  • Additional Information: This role requires the ability to float up to 3 times per month, assisting with various patient care activities including helping hands, sitter/camera watching, or CNA type work. The position involves working an equitable number of weekend shifts, with a focus on obstetric and neonatal patient care. Candidates must be fully vaccinated and able to meet the detailed clinical and operational expectations outlined.
