Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Moses Lake, Washington
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights
⏱️ Hours: 36 Hours/Week
We’re seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to support a Family Birthing Unit caring for mothers and newborns. The ideal candidate should have strong L&D clinical skills, sound critical-thinking abilities, and the ability to respond effectively to rapidly changing patient conditions.
✅ Requirements
Active Washington RN License
Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
BLS — AHA or equivalent
NRP Advanced required by the end of orientation
Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required within 3 months of completing L&D training
ACLS required within 6 months
STABLE preferred
RN-C specialty certification preferred
Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and crisis-management skills
L&D Clinical Experience
Labor and delivery care
Maternal and newborn assessment
Electronic fetal monitoring
Patient and family education
Care planning and evaluation
Management of changing patient conditions
Collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Assignment Highlights
36 hours per week
Night-shift assignment
No holiday coverage required
Pager/call may be required
Facility may cancel up to 2 shifts per month, with up to 6 shifts during the 13-week assignment
Up to 24 hours of facility call-off available at no cost during the assignment
