Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) San Francisco, California. This position involves providing specialized nursing care to obstetric patients in a busy Labor and Delivery department. The role requires delivering high-acuity patient care, supporting high-risk deliveries, and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team in a hospital setting.
Job Details:
- Certifications: CA Registered Nurse (RN) license, Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BSN), American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
- Education Requirements: CA RN license, BSN.
- Location Requirements: CA RN license in hand.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience, with at least 1 recent year in a similar role.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 10/06/2026 and ending 01/12/2027.
- Required Skills: Ability to circulate for cesarean sections, assist with vaginal delivery, use of external fetal monitoring, postpartum care, neonatal resuscitation, and management of high-risk pregnancies.
- Additional Information: Previous travel experience is preferred. Must submit all references at time of submission. Must be able to float to other UCSF facilities as needed.
- Submittal Requirements: All references must be in hand at the time of submission.
- Certifications and skills must be current and documented.
