Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Department registered nurse (RN) position available in a facility located in the area. The role involves providing specialized care to obstetric patients across all stages of labor, delivery, and postpartum. The RN will ensure safe, effective, and compassionate patient care in accordance with organizational standards and protocols.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shift with 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Licenses or certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Association of Womens Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) Intermediate, Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); at least 2 years of experience; valid state license (compact license required); location within 50 miles of the facility.
- Preferred Qualifications: Certified in AWHONN Advanced and experience in Labor and Delivery (L&D) departments.
- Float: Float rotation may be required between like units.
- Additional Information: The position requires active labor and postpartum experience, with orientation hours totaling 36. Candidates must be available to start on 10/19/2026, and the assignment will run through 04/19/2027. Submissions must include responses to the required screening questions, including prior experience at similar facilities and references from the last three years.
