This 13-week travel nursing contract offers night-shift RN work supporting patients and families through labor, delivery, operative recovery, postpartum care, and newborn care. Travel Nursing Job Details
- Job Title: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)

- Assignment Type: 13-week travel nursing contract

- End Date: February 13, 2027
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,700–$2,840
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.
- Hours: 36 hours per week with 72 guaranteed hours every two weeks, excluding on-call time
- Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
- Orientation: Biweekly orientation
- Floating: No floating required
Labor & Delivery RN Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license eligible for practice in Massachusetts
- 3–5 or more years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience preferred
- Recent experience in an obstetrics and delivery setting
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Advanced fetal monitoring certification
- Comfort with or experience supporting operative deliveries in the operating room preferred
- Seasonal flu vaccination required during onboarding
Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care throughout the labor and delivery process
- Perform prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn assessments
- Support vaginal and operative deliveries, including intraoperative and recovery care
- Monitor fetal and maternal status and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Provide postpartum care for mother-and-newborn couplets
- Care for well newborns and premature newborns requiring specialized support
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary maternal-newborn team to promote safe, high-quality outcomes
- Educate patients and families regarding care, recovery, and newborn needs
