Requirements

• Active Washington State or Compact RN license
• BLS
• NRP
• Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification
• Must follow Confluence Health policies and Washington Nurse Practice Act standards

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced RN to provide high-quality, patient-centered care utilizing the nursing process and unit-specific standards.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Assessing and reassessing patient condition
• Developing and updating individualized plans of care
• Medication administration
• Nursing procedures and treatments
• Patient and family education
• Discharge planning
• Accurate EMR documentation
• Delegating appropriate tasks to support staff
• Coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team
• Responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Maintaining patient and staff safety

Float Expectations

Candidates must be flexible with staffing needs and may:

• Float to other areas in rotation
• Float as a sitter when required

Recruiter Notes

Strong fit for an RN with BLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring experience who is comfortable with a 3x12 day schedule and flexible floating expectations. The sitter float requirement should be discussed with the candidate before submission.
