Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse position is located in Moses Lake, Washington. This role involves functioning as both a caregiver and care manager within the maternity unit. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and standards. Additionally, the RN will oversee and coordinate the work of other caregivers, providing leadership and support in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • License: Current Washington State RN Licensure.
  • Certification: Healthcare Provider (HCP) Level of Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire; ACLS certification within 6 months of hire and renewal every 2 years; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Advanced certification required prior to start date. Additional specialty certifications such as AWHONNs Intermediate Fetal Monitoring are required or preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum one year of RN experience in acute care preferred, with a focus on labor and delivery.
  • Skills/Competencies: Ability to perform comprehensive assessments, demonstrate critical thinking, practice within legal and ethical guidelines, and effectively care for patients across all age groups. Possess physical stamina for tasks such as lifting, pushing, pulling, and performing CPR, as well as excellent communication skills.
  • Work Environment: Collaborates closely with patients, physicians, and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
