Genie Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Los Angeles, California.

Job Description & Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery for a 13-week assignment. This role requires strong L&D experience, including L&D triage, laboring patients, and cesarean section patients.

 

Unit Details

  • Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: Varies based on acuity, typically 1:1 or 1:2
  • Unit Capacity: 9 LDRs and 4 triage rooms
  • Common Patient Diagnoses/Cases:
  • Laboring patients
  • Cesarean section patients
  • L&D triage
  • EMR: Allscripts
  • Floating: Yes
  • On-Call: None

Qualifications

  • RN license
  • Minimum 2 years of L&D experience
  • MUST HAVE L&D triage experience
  • Experience with:
  • Laboring patients
  • Cesarean section patients
  • L&D triage

Required Certifications

  • BLS
  • NRP
  • ACLS
  • Advanced Fetal Monitoring

  • Dress Code: Scrubs will be provided
