Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery (L&D) profession is seeking a qualified registered nurse for a short-term assignment in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized nursing care during high-volume delivery periods, supporting neonatal and infant patient needs, and collaborating within a level 3B neonatal intensive care unit. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on obstetric and neonatal patient care.

Job Details:

  • Location: The position is based in a healthcare facility in Kirkland, WA.
  • Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications:
    • Licenses: Registered Nurse (RN) with a compact license accepted
    • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Certification in Fetal Heart Monitoring (acceptable at intermediate or advanced levels)
    • Experience: Two years of labor and delivery experience, with recent high-volume deliveries (close to 2,500 deliveries annually)
    • EPIC experience is required, and circulating experience in labor and delivery is mandatory.
    • Previous travel experience is preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Recent experience in high-volume delivery settings
  • Additional Information:
    • The successful candidate will work floating shifts in the postpartum and pediatric units, primarily focusing on neonatal care and low-acuity infants in a level 3B NICU.
    • The assignment is scheduled to start on 10/12/2026 and will last for approximately 13 weeks, ending on 01/10/2027.
    • No float rotation is required for this role.
