Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse in the area. This position involves providing specialized care for pregnant patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum as part of a dynamic clinical team. The role requires adherence to hospital protocols and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP; preferred certifications include AWHONN Advanced.
  • Education Requirements: Valid state license with a compact license in hand at submission.
  • Years of Experience: At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience in labor and delivery.
  • Responsibilities include: Assisting with high-risk delivery, postpartum care, fetal monitoring, labor support, and neonatal resuscitation.
  • Skills: Administration of blood and blood products, assist with amniocentesis, assess site post-op, and perform sterile vaginal exams.
  • Additional Information: Must be able to work on a 4x12 schedule upon request, with flexibility for unit float between like units as needed. Candidate must include RTO (Authorized Time Off) requests during submission.
  • Submission requirements: Candidates should answer whether they have prior experience at a Providence facility, including location and dates worked. Two references covering the past year are required.
