Job Summary:
L&D (Labor and Delivery) nurse in a hospital setting. This position involves providing specialized care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum, requiring labor and postpartum experience. The role offers the opportunity to work nights with a 12-hour shift schedule, supporting a busy obstetric unit.
Job Details:
- Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid State License with at least 2 years of experience in labor and delivery, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), AWHONN Intermediate (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses), BLS (Basic Life Support), and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications.
- Preferred Qualifications: AWHONN Advanced certification.
- Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
- Start Date: 10/19/2026
- End Date: 01/18/2027
- Must have at least 1 year of professional experience in a hospital labor and delivery department.
- May be expected to float between like units; refusal to float may lead to contract termination or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
- Must include response to whether the candidate has worked at a Providence facility as a permanent employee, on a travel contract, or as registry/per-diem, with location and dates.
- Must provide 2 references covering at least 1 year during the last 3 years prior to start.
