Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with Labor & Delivery experience
• BLS certification
• NRP certification
• Fetal monitoring competency
• Experience with postpartum care and transition from labor to discharge
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team-based environment
• Epic experience strongly preferred
• Multilingual skills are a plus
• First-time travelers may be considered

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
• Perform cervical exams and assess antepartum and laboring patients
• Manage and support interventions such as amnioinfusions, epidurals, Pitocin administration, and fetal monitoring
• Assist with circulating C-sections when needed
• Support newborn care, including baby catching/receiving and APGAR assessments
• Educate and support families with breastfeeding guidance and postpartum care
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure smooth, coordinated patient flow
• Contribute to a positive patient experience in a busy, team-oriented birth center
