Pay:$2,614/week
Role Overview
Join us s an LDRP RN providing care across Labor & Delivery, Recovery, Mother-Baby, and Postpartum. This position is ideal for experienced nurses comfortable caring for mothers and newborns throughout the entire birthing process while supporting a small community hospital environment.
Required Experience
- 2+ years of Labor & Delivery experience required
- Ideal candidate has 3-5 years of both L&D and Mother/Baby/Postpartum experience
- Experience performing cervical exams
- Experience with Cytotec placement
- Experience managing Magnesium drips
- Newborn and preemie care following delivery or C-section
- Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN) required
- Bonus experience: PALS, C-EFM, and OR experience
Requirements
- Current RN License
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- NRP certification
- Intermediate EFM (AWHONN)
- Current CPR certification if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD, or Chest X-Ray if applicable
- Current Health Certificate if required
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Additional Details
- True LDRP position covering Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum, and Mother/Baby care
- Average of 40 deliveries per month
- 2 triage beds for labor evaluations, NSTs, and fluid management
- May float to Med Surg to assist staff, but will not take a full Med Surg assignment
- Charting systems: CPSI and GE Perinatal
- Client interview required
- Orientation consists of 1-3 unit shifts depending on experience
- Scrub color: Ceil Blue
- Every shift includes support from experienced L&D staff and on-call coverage
